The PowerPac 48" Big Fan with 7 Speed, Industrial Fan, Power Fan PPP4822 is a powerful electrical fan in the shape of a drum. Drum fans, also known as Barrel fans, designed specifically to create a column of air that is propelled directly forwards, creating a powerful wind tunnel. This helps to cool the area faster, as no air is lost in other directions as it would be with smaller fan type.
Drum Fans are commonly used for cooling and ventilation in industrial and commercial settings such as factories and warehouses, photography studios, workshops, exhausting fumes or dust from construction sites, drying out wet spaces after floods or deep cleaning, gymnasiums and livestock sheds. Drum fans are not made for standard offices, cubicles, small home offices, or cooling you or your pets at close range.
The PowerPac 48" Big Fan PPP4822 has four 5” swivel wheels (casters) which allows it to be easily transferred to wherever needs cooling. It is a Direct-drive drum fan which is very efficient and very powerful - able to move a large quantity of air per second. Its powerful motor, coupled with its six 48” (120 cm) blades, offer an air-flow rate of 30,000 cubic metres per hour. It can cool areas down quickly and efficiently, which is especially important in hot environments. Exactly how efficient? Its power intake of 600 Watts is less than a 1.5 litre rice cooker. It is also easier to clean and maintain, as it is only 50 kg (110 pounds) while consuming less power, than other cooling options
