It is equipped with a powerful suction fan, which draws in hesitant insects, which for whatever reason are cautious in coming closer to the attractive light before them. Unlike conventional insect killers, this appliance does not utilise a high voltage electric grid which will electrocute the insects instantly. Rather, these pests are sucked in by the fan, and are collected in the Removable Base.
This appliance covers an area of 60 square metres, which is ideal for being placed unobstrusively in the living area or patio. The UV Light Tubes are completely harmless to humans and pets. It does not emit fumes, odour or harmful chemicals, unlike insecticide sprays, which can be deadly to pets and young children, or anyone allergic to the chemicals contained in it. The absence of high voltage electric grids, affords another layer of safety protection to the appliance.
