Introducing the PowerPac 1.7L Kettle Jug BPA-FREE PPJ2005 is ideal for your home or office.
The internal surfaces which include the Inner Pot and Heating Plate, are made with 304 food-grade stainless steel. The plastic components are BPA-free.
BPA (bisphenol A) is an industrial chemical that is used to coat the surfaces of plastics, including in food containers, water bottles and kettle jugs in order to help the plastic last longer and not wear away over time. Unfortunately, BPA can seep into food and water, and may cause serious illnesses like cancer, heart disease, miscarriage and infertility.
The cordless Kettle Jug is placed on top of the Base, which has an attached power cable. This allows the Kettle Jug to be carried by the large Handle without the power cable, which is very convenient.
When the Kettle Jug sits on the Base and the ON/OFF Switch located on the Handle, is turned on, the Indicator Light appears. It turns off when heat is no longer supplied to the Kettle.
After the water has boiled for several seconds, or if the water level is below MIN, the Automatic Safety Cut-Off function will be activated, which prevents further heating.
