Designed with multiple built-in safety features, the PPC511 includes a safety pin that automatically rises if the steam release valve becomes clogged, helping prevent excessive pressure build-up. For continued safe operation, the steam release valve should be cleaned regularly.
To ensure proper operation, the pressure cooker will not begin pressure cooking (the timer will not count down) unless the safety pin is correctly positioned and the steam release valve is turned to the "O" operating position.
Please note: This model requires manual pressure release (depressurisation) after cooking has finished before the lid can be safely opened.
